[BC] is planning a tournament next saturday (20th May) , we are inviting people come come along have have some firendly matches against us, other clans expecially welcome. Hopefully all the members of our clan will be able to make it and we hope to see a good turn out of opponents.

Also the steam client has been updated today and there has been some major changes which include ....

•Added 'My media' tab to the main steam window
•Changed selecting a new steam skin to prompt for a restart
•Updated internet connection speeds list in the settings dialog
•Added download time estimation to install dialog
•Added Metascore column to games list

Steam have provided us with two screenshots of the new player models which are NOW available to play as on CounterStrike Source. So if you havn't already RESTART steam to recive the updates.

Today steam announced the development of two new character models heres what they said ......

" In February we'll be releasing two more Counter-Strike: Source player models. Those will be the Leet Krew and SAS, one for each side in the game. They should be ready for a screenshot next week. "

Today the new level de_militia has been released for gameplay, so restart your steam applet and give it a good thrashing........We will be hosting the new level on our server all day today although the HDR won't be on. More info on our server can be found here

As well as the introduction the new level steam have also released an update to the source engine which will be automatically downloaded when you start steam. Some of the updates include....

•Fixed bug where footsteps sometimes sounded for crouched players on stairs or slopes
•Detail props sway in the breeze now
•Underwater observers no longer play drowning damage sounds
•Hostages can open doors and step up onto ledges/stairs now

With the release of the new level de_militia pondering over us Steam have released a sneak peak screenshot of the final game during testing, as you can see it also makes use of the new HDR (High Dynamic Range rendering) technology.
