Firstly this website does not condone any form of cheating on Counter-Strike, if you feel you need help read these tips and put them into practice, remember with these sorts of game the more you play them the better you will get at them.

BURSTFIRE

When shooting any weapon in Counter-Strike you encounter recoil, this effect pushes your weapon aim up into the air. This means that the longer your burst of fire is, the more "off aim" you shots are going to go. To get the best accuracy shoot short bursts of 2 or 3 bullets which will give you time to regain your aim between firing, as well as saving you ammunition

RECOIL

To help compnestae for recoil try aiming a little lower than the target area so the natrual movement of the weapon recoil will bring the aim up and if you lucky will bag you a head shot. Combining this with burst firing also helps imrpove your accuracy

RELOADING

Reloading in Counter-Strike is the time when you are most vunerable, unlike most action games the reloading isn't instantanious. So plan your reloading so you dont go into a bid shootout with only half a clip of ammo

WEAPON SWITCHING

If you find yourself in a sitiuation where you are running low on ammo for your primary weapon but you are still in a shootout, switching to your seccondary weapon is much quicker than having to reload, just ensure that it always has a full clip of ammo.

CROUCHING

The best way to remain undetected in the game is by crouching, not only is there less of you to shoot, but you no longer make audiable footsteps so you can crawl about without anyone hearing you.

UNTARGETABLE MOVEMENT

If your getting fired upon, expecially by snipers the best way to avoid beging shot is to be unpredictable with your movement, quickly changing direction and jumpling can put a sniper off aim, and if your lucky turn a potential head shot into somthing less damaging.

TARGETING

Just because you have an automatic rifle it dosnt mean that you can go round shooting at any old random object, not only does it eat up your ammo (expecially the AK), it also tells everyone else where you are. Always try and aim from a far distance and go for the chest.

Now if you ever come face to face with an enemy, it is advisable to full-auto a whole clip in his face like a madman.

CAMPING

Now throughout the game the word camping is often used by frustrated players in a bad way to describe someone who hides in one place and pops them off again and again.

There is a time and a place to camp when playing Counter-Strike, just remebber which side your playing as. For example on a hostage rescue level, the counter-terrorists should NOT camp.

LISTENING / OBSERVING

When playing the game take a seccond to listen for any footsteps, as this is a big sign to an enemys where abouts. Also take a look at the radar to see where the rest of your team mates are, as when working as a team there is less chance of you getting shot, and its usually where all the action is.

BETTER AIMING

I myself have used this tip many times, and it does actually work. When playing the game the crosshair can be quite hard to see, expecially in levels like de_dust, to make it stand out more take a little piece of BlueTack and stick it in the middle on the crosshair on your screen. This dot on the screen makes it much easier to line up your shots.
